Your first drone will not fly smooth or cinematic for a long time due to your skill. And you will crash it learning. Sell your morality away to dji if you want, but wait until it makes financial sense at least.
Honestly not much compares to uncrashed as far as maps for freestyle. But for lower spec fpv logic is quite good, and I find it's simulation more enjoyable.
I tried fpv logic, tryp, uncrashed, and liftoff. Lift off is the only one that doesn't feel floaty / fake to me. Note this is all very subjective by the way. Fpv logic was my runner up due to the physics tweaking settings easily accessible. Tryp is beautiful with large and fun freestyle maps but very very few options for quads and they all feel very weak. Uncrashed is - in my opinion - about tied with tryp for best looks, and includes an awesome level editor and real time multiplayer (if I remember correctly).
Dji instantly means I'm not gonna buy it. Too many controversies and I'm not a fan of their closed systems. They just don't seem to be very hobbyist friendly. That being said I'm excited to see how walksnail and hdzero respond to this.
Would love to know your thoughts after you fly it. I want to support emax because I like what they do for fpv, but the descriptions on their website are too vague.
