Stu please save my sanity.  Literally NO ONE has confirmed the power of the radio.  Is it a max 1 watt transmitter?  I'm assuming it is, but it's not even listed on their site.  The website lists "Current: 875mA at max power output" which, if that's the output, seems like a weird arbitrary number to me.

And I use the upper right momentary all the time.  I arm on the upper left AUX1 on a switch, and I use the momentary button as a pre-arm.  I think a majority of us arm on the left side otherwise they probably would have switched those a long time ago.  In addition, I think stock EdgeTX lists that switch as AUX1 which is the arm switch.

Can you confirm the power output?

Also, are the AG02's the smaller gimbals or the full size ones, they look like the smaller ones to me.

Thanks for your work sir!

I use HD Zero, walksnail and analog.  I use DJI at work so I have experience with all of the systems.  DJI is nice but those goggles are hella uncomfortable compared to the others.  I think it's interesting DJI finally made a small board for your smaller quads, but its probably still only good down to about 75 maybe?  It would still be adding too much weight for a 65.

Picture is nice, but I too question the durability.  Thing looks super fragile.  Meanwhile HDZero made a AIO board with it already installed and it's rock solid for those smaller builds.

I think the thing that really pisses me off with DJI is a complete unwillingness to adhere to any standards we've set.  We just went thru this with 03.  The camera mounting was different from everything else we've used so far so we all had to adjust, whether we flew DJI or not.  Now, they release 04 and here we go again.  What, we couldn't use the previous mounting?

DJI just says "fuck you" to the entire community time and time again, but since we have so many people who are enamored with their tech it forces our hobby to continue to bow, scrape and chase DJI, all while they white knight defend them.  It's just so tiring and frustrating.

Well... 7" doesn't really.... freestyle....

6" struggle with freestyle, 7 is just... yeah.  Long range is better for that size prop.  In that case I'd run a big 6000 mAh Lithium Ion pack.  You really don't need a ton of C to keep it in the air (since you really won't be doing punch outs) and you'll get a ton of flight time with one.

Depends on how much you hate your batteries.  Or if your fingers can tolerate the cold.

Personally at that low temps... it's whoop season for a reason.

But if you really wanna fly outside make sure you keep those batteries warm, and understand their gonna get cold quick which degrades their performance.  Maybe don't dip them below 3.8 average v/cell.

Also, keep in mind its gonna make your entire quad cold so it might be a bit more brittle (like the props).

Plug it into a light and let it go until it runs out.  Your charger (if you have a decent smart charger) probably has a kill/destroy/depose setting.  That purposely burns the battery out.

When I do it I use the charger first.  Then once that charger cycles it out, then I'll plug it into a light.  You can usually find some cheap battery killer lights like on GetFPV or Racedayquads.  I plug that in and let it sit for a couple of days until the light is completely out to ensure it's dead.

Then find yourself a battery recycling place and drop it off.

Let's take flight together and elevate the world of FPV drones to new heights.
