@ToboBobbin thanks for letting me know. I'll check it out. Has there been a big change ?

A good step for binning them is to place them in a jar of water doused with table salt. It'll draw the charge (and gunk) out of the lipo and will killing it completely before disposal. You can pick up inexpensive lipo killers too.
I'd prob still use that battery. Dents are ok but obviously damages it , and pierced or near pierced is very dangerous.

Phew ! 😄 You do get them. Mark UAVTECH channel just released a vid on 13" filter tuning. He's covered 10" stuff before and is good at explaining how to read BBE
Happy flying

Beginner + 10" quad = disaster in the making. Check out Mark at UAVTECH or Brian at PTBs videos.

There's a good Aphex Twin tune called We are the music makers.
Music is (human) magic.

Commented on troubleshoot question Mobula6 2024 has weird twitches

I'd a look at your video. ESC aside , it could be many things causing that ie mechanical or your config.

Are your props in good nick ?

Is your build reasonably clean ?

Have you selected filters for clean build or noisy build and selected the correct packet rate (match to controller) for RC link if using ELRS. ?

Dterm too high ? Not tuned right ?

Send screenshot of your pids and filters.

Return your ESC settings to the defaults. Min and Max startup are too high.

If that's your budget ; iflight xing2 1404 3800kv are very good, and durable, on a sub250g 3.5inch.

Commented on troubleshoot question Upgrading my analog nazgul eco to dji o4

@Lyghtz I soldered on. You remove the SBUS wire from the Vtx plug and solder the rest of the plug wires onto board.

Mind it's Rx to Tx and Tx to Rx

You'll need to select HD OSD in BF firmware builder options, and change setting in Ports tab.

Commented on troubleshoot question No OSD, but everything work great

Possible you've selected wrong firmware option (SD Vs HD) or that you've selected wrong options in Ports tab.

What UART is your VTX on , and is it Tramp or Smart Audio ? ( I can't read your screenshots)

@Lyghtz It's a relatively easy upgrade. I've upgraded a few analogue Nazgul5's to DJI 03 no problem. I think the 04 is bulkier, so not sure about mounting with that.

@Cheese.injection GEPRC SPEEDX2 2105.5-2650KV(6S) come with the GEPRC Cinelog35 HD.
All else being equal you'd have less power/performance and shorter flights using 4s.  Cinelog35 has the weight of an air unit and complicated frame so if you have lighter components it should work out ok for flight time and power.

Yeh, they're fine

@qwo99 A successful trouble shoot but not the result you hope for. It sounds like your vtx is fried

I'd hold off. Chinese New Year just been and they'll prob drop new products for spring. Guaranteed there'll be 3.5 inch with 04 available from GEPRC etc.
Furthermore ....if you're in EU , and USA riles China too much with these daft tariffs (soz even us too) then look forward to cheaper gear in Europe.
With G3 available, G2 price will drop too.

I started on analogue and built myself up to digital five inch builds, and so glad I missed the GoPro days with 03 arriving. Go pros are defunct with 03 and 04 on the scene

@tixu I recommend 3.5" freestyle quad on a 4s 850mAh battery. I've got digital 5" builds but I love my two 3.5" GEPRC builds so much I moved a 4" Flywoo onto a Volador 3.5" frame. Great sub 250g fun.

Further to @TeleportFpv  if you're in Europe you'll need to be well away from uninvolved people and property to fly that size of quad. Don't give moaners ammo for conflict. If you've got a garden it needs to be Bardwells size of property or you'll run out of room very fast with a 6s 5".
The risk to property and people is very high compared to starting on 1.6" or 3.5". The difference in inertia is huge. Approx 200g for 3.5" to approx 800g for 6s 5".
Ppl notice a 5", you get away with 3.5" in parks, and just about anywhere with tiny whoops. They teach you proximity flying with lower powered quad with low risk of injury, or damage to property...and they're fraction of cost so you can afford to maintain more than one.

Nice staging on the sugar jar lid. Why not do your own review and include some footage of the bowling alley.

Let's take flight together and elevate the world of FPV drones to new heights.
