Hey, if i recall correctly hdzero does not recommend changing the tx power via betaflight/smart audio. have you tried changing the vtx power with the OSD menu? you can access it with this stick command (center your sticks and execute the gesture on the picture while disarmed) for more info: https://hd-zero.github.io/hdzero-vtx-docs/latest/vtx_user_manual/
I would say follow the guide and everthing extra is free stuff^^. My guess is, that the small standoff thingys and some of the extra screws are for mounting a small single board vtx. I used this guide for my build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAzNhubDp2o
@BrickFPV it is either the cables or the motor is just dirty or bent. that is fairly normal for tiny whoop motors after you have flown (and crashed) them for a while.
the plugs should not be the problem. perhaps it is just a broken cable? I would probably just get one new motor und try switching it. Worst case, if it does not help, you have a spare one for the future^^
it looks like something is happening with the back right motor. Have you checked if there is something wrong with the cables there? if the motor is direct soldered it could be a loose solder joint. (that was the cause for this problem on my 5inch drone)
Hey, your FC seems to be able to run an drone with 8 Motors. I guess you only need 4 Motors (so only one ESC). I do not know what cables you have exactly but my guess is, that you can plug in one of the cables in a way that connects to the ESC and leaves the pads for motor 5-8 empty on the flightcontroller side.
Did you power the drone by battery or only by USB of the flight controller for betaflight? Some flight controllers do not power all UARTs when connected to the PC.
Hey. When you say no signal, is it static in the goggles or a black screen with the on-screen-display text visible? If it is the black screen check the camera connector (it could be loose).
@WolfTWHey. I started analog with the Eachine EV800DM (Available on the Kaufland website). I like them. Still use them from time to time. Sadly their price went up from 80€ to 135€...
Hey. That Depends on your eyes. In my case I am nearsighted (+ astigmatism. Highest value -5.0). I have 3 googles: - EV800dm Box goggles: works fine without glasses - Skyzone O3O: had to have custom lenses made - DJI Googles3: Works fine with the inbuilt diopter adjustment + the included -2 lenses I hope this can serve as a refrence.
I noticed the website does not post pictures above a certain size / resolution. It worked for me after i downscaled the picture a few times. I guess this is intended, but i would expect an error message when a picture is rejected due to size.
