So far I am very Impressed. First and foremost, these are box style goggles so if that's not for you you'll have to look at other (more expensive) options. Also these only work for the Walksnail video system, unlike the new HDZero Box Pro that have HDZero and Analog receivers.

That being said, for around $200 at the time I'm shopping (plus whatever discounts you find), these are a solid upgrade to a digital video system. The latency is not that noticeable compared to other video systems, while the picture is significantly better than analog or HDZero.

I purchased these because DJI is having issues shipping in my country, so Walksnail was the next best option. Compare these to DJI's N3 Model or HDZero's Box Pro's and you are sill saving money while also getting a head tracker. I got a deal with the Avatar HD system and gimbal (around $470), but am waiting on the gimbal to come in since they shipped separately.

A plus and a minus is there is no built in battery. The advantage is that you can use your own so you do not have to worry about opening your goggles and voiding any warranties, but you still have to supply your own battery and have it connected via the XT60 to barrel cable they provide. (I got two 4S 1500mah packs for an extra $33.) These are some of the smallest and lightest goggles I've worn and I believe the lack of battery is a major factor. There is no ON/OFF button, just plug in and unplug when finished.

The screen does feel a little small but honestly when you are immersed in your flight that does not bother much. I'm concerned the goggles having no place to connect a top strap. I am fine with the elastic strap provided for the time being (this only goes around the side of your head), but know it will loosen beyond reasonable tightening very soon. There should be a way to route the power cable to the strap so you have some strain relief, but as is, everything still feels comfortable. Honestly though, the small form factor and price make up for everything. Pair this with a Radiomaster Pocket into any bag to fly anywhere fast and easy.

A big big plus is that Walksnail will make prescription inserts for around $30 plus shipping (though I could not wait so I took the lenses out of old glasses and hot glued them on under the foam insert). I assume the inserts work well enough since you give them your prescription, though you can also get the empty frame insert and have your own lenses made. If you don't have spare lenses you are willing to hot glue, and can not wait a month for custom inserts, consider other goggles that you can adjust to generally fit your vision needs.

The goggles come with three frequency bands by default and have an auto select to find the best one to use. You can turn on race mode to access 16 bands to fly with others. There seems to be a feature for you to share your video stream, but I have not got the chance to test that yet.

Two strange things: this has a 'cool; LED bar on the front of the goggles, I guess to make you look cool and for no other purpose. Strange there is no USBC, I assume firmware upgrades will be over Wi-Fi. Also one more thing, the fan revs up even when the unit doesn't seem to be getting hot.

Overall very excited to have these goggles and would definitely recommend them to others. Video quality seems great too; it may not beat DJI or your best action cam, but for what you see when you're flying it's a great experience.
