don't worry... it took me YEARS AND YEARS to save up for my 2inch.... lmao it's just that maintanance isn't as expensive as the big boy quads... ESPECIALLY when you fly carefully.... I was learning on a pirated version of Liftoff micros for a LOOONG long time.... I actually just bought it officially only like a few months ago.... since I really wanted to support them for all the pain and money they saved me by being able to learn to fly in their sim first (point is... you will get there eventually... dw.. just be patient and save up little by little)

@DroneKoorts also... isn't it cheating when my camera angle in the sim was like 55° during the race?

tbf I don't really do many catastrophic crashes..... and since it's a 2 inch the costs are quite managable even for a broke ass dude like me, if I manage to trash my VTX new one costs like 50€ or I send it back to cadxx for repair.... (I fly the Walksnail 1S kit) and other than that... the motors are really good quality.... instead of the motor bell bending... the whole ass motor bends and still spins smoothly.... + these flywoo motors have solder pads so even when I rip off a wire on acciedent... I can just solder new ones on without having to replace the entire motor.... the AIO is sturdy as HELL too... I also waterproof all my drones... ever since my battery died once right on top of a small body of deep water......  overall most of the costs included were my mistakes.... like the first time I blew up a VTX was because I assumed I don't need a capacitor on a 2inch and I turtle moded.... eversince then the VTX is connected to the AIO's 9V BEC and I added a cap... etc.

Thanks!!! I was actually SUPER surprised as well LMAO... also to answer your question... I do fly around the ranch with my 50g 2inch.... hitting gaps and stuff... and I did practice in the Sim before I got my quad.... but it was never full blown racing... most of the time just chill precission training, the one thing that might be similar is when I practiced my imaginary race track in liftoff micros like a year and a half ago.... but no timing just slow precission training... and I was preaty shit at it....

Upvoted comment on a troubleshoot question TX16S MKII internal module faulty?

It seems likely that the fault lies in the power supply of the internal module. Without a circuit diagram, it is difficult to narrow down the possible components. Try contacting RM support. They have the measurement points and their values.

the new internal module works as long as it gets power from the external module, haven't been able to figure out where the issue is on the mainboard

TX16S MKII internal module faulty?

Did you wire it? If so, where did you wire it to? I think all of the 1s vtxs are rated for 3.1-13v, so its impossible for a 2s quad to make enough voltage to fry it... right? Unless you plugged in a higher voltage battery of course.

Also, if its a bnf and it just smoked when you plugged in. They should totally replace it.

ye.... it's a bnf and I didn't wire it... I just noticed the shitty wiring when I took it apart... also.. it's a 2S lihv... and at peak... it can do like 35A .... even tho it's a 2inch.... and.... THEY DIDN'T EVEN USE A CAPACITOR... + the AIO that THEY themselves make.... has a port for shit like dji HD.... which u can use for literary all other VTX's too.... + it has a 2A 9V buck converter... that u can turn on an off.... so not only stable voltage but it won't overheat 5seconds into plugging it in.... (edit... I did message them... they didn't respond yet.. but I'd be more than ok with just a new vtx... cause god damn...)

get some 18650 liion cells or a liion pack, with some quality cells and ur good, (liion cells have a lot higher energy density compared to lipo)

not really.... nope... if I had a thermal camera I bet it would be a breze to diagnose the faulty component....

Man... What happened exactly, and are there any lights turning on? Those symptoms pretty much mean it's dead. Also what do you mean by debug pins?
