Hey! Been a while for me.  I got a set of these and the 680 on the way. You have the metor75 pro with an o4, right?

Youtube music will get you what you want. I read it, it was a lot. I talk too much as well.  SD cards are super cheap. Don't need a crazy big one flying analog. 1hr of flight footage is maybe 3gb. Probably off a bit.

All rc hobbies are quite expensive and quite unforgiving.  Get that job, you will get what you need. I remember trying to help troubleshoot your air65 a little while ago.  There is so much to learn and understand. You are going to be just fine once you get your income streaming in.

Of course, you are welcome. Thank you for checking it out.  I would check your local hobby shop.  They may have a track and or know where to race. I love mini z racing. Honestly, it's one of the cheapest entry into RC racing you can find. But don't do it if it means you can't get drone parts!

Why yes it is. Large 96. Just stuffed it into my car this weekend, that is why it is apart.

I made some led gates. I used the idea and prints from Evil Genius Labs, they look way better than mine.. Still gotta make another round one, maybe bigger. But going to wall mount it to a corner somewhere. Such a cool idea and design. The electronics, I am using a 5v 3a power supply with some jst connector I had. I just did my own little box and used an lolin d1 mini pro running WLED. They are wifi hubs, so you connect to them and can change the pattern or whatnot. Wiring is kind of a mess, could add a button to change colors and stuff as well. Thinking about making a hub for them to all connect to. Maybe usb-c pd power. Still gotta test some more. idk. Fun project. I am sure I will have a video up flying them soon. DOING IGOW for the first time, wish me luck.

Oh, man. That really sucks, sorry man. That is a tough time. I don't even know. Silly, but... Known good cable, use the web app if you already used the installed app for betaflight..  Have you checked in Device Manager for any changes when plugging in the fc?

I haven't taken it apart yet, so not sure on the esc. But I don't see any on the motors or from the outside of the esc.

I figured, looks it was loosely based on gridfinity.

Thoughts on what may have happened are very welcome.

She just fell from the sky. The last seconds of flight, I throttled up to do a "everything is ok" front flip after getting close to a tree. Post crash the motor on the back left(looking at it facing away from the top) is toast, but the arm got road rash, so I believe it fell on that one and could have bent it post whatever made it crash. No loss of signal on the goggles or transmitter, and my pocket is quick to warn of signal loss or telemetry. Non of which happened.

New motor coming in, and a lot of testing before she gets sent over asphalt again.

@proantifpv I would have got a better set of analog goggles. Probably skip the crux and build, even though what I did with that and having to rebuild it taught me a good bit.

1. Buy a radio first, pocket isn't for everyone. I love it. Get a sim, practice.

2. This one kinda depends on what they've done or can do in relation to RC or electronics.. If they are comfortable with soldering.

I would still say get an Air65 and some analog goggles first. It isn't the best for outdoor, but it'll do just fine. And is so great at indoor.

If they have to build, then a strong frame is best to start with I think, for sure 3.5" or smaller though. It isn't fun having to change arms or frames all the time.  I don't think building a tinywhoop is for everyone. But it would be pretty cheap compared.

Just my thoughts.  If I am having this conversation face to face, I would be offering help as well if they were to build or whatever.  There were a lot of hurdles of just information that I had to figure out or lookup..  THANKFULLY the community is helpful.

Let's take flight together and elevate the world of FPV drones to new heights.
