Question about the builder and parts, generally but maybe mostly to devs/reviewers of parts:

What part categories are lacking the most - is it receivers/FCs/ESCs/sensors/something else?

(Mainly looking for where you would like me and others to focus most on trying to add parts as opposed to what I've been doing so far: just grab something I want to work on randomly.)

So two theories that come to mind right away - not sure how likely any of them are for your specific drone:
1) loose connection to one of the motors or similar - in the middle of the turn the connection to that motor or something, maybe gyro, breaks up for just a tiny fraction of time and the FC tries to compensate by throttling up all the remaining motors.
2) setting in betaflight, maybe related to crash recovery or something - the drone thinks it's in a crash/has just hit an object, and tries to recover - not sure what would cause that, maybe either faulty config in betaflight or a intermittently loose connector to the gyro or something.
(The loose connections suggested doesn't really have to be wires, could just be a loose solder joint inside a component/motor)

Is the whole motion in the video what you mean happens intermittently when your just flying straight ahead?

No problem, do  you want me to just report duplicates I find like I have here/before? =)

Just chiming in to agree - couldn't agree more.
I'm running 3 parts of your recommendation:
Currently flying a betafpv air 65 II
Running a radiomaster pocket, it is definitely awesome, and especially for it's price point.
I'm also running the hdzero boxpro+ goggles: couldn't be happier, they do my analog air 65 ii just fine and when I feel like it, my more expensive hdzero digital setup for other rc stuff.

Duplicate part found (I think)

"TBS Crossfire Nano RX FPV Long Range Drone Receiver"

&

"TBS Crossfire Nano 900MHz Receiver w/CRSF Micro Antenna"

TBS doesn't make two versions named like that from what I can see on their page, and if images of the products in the builder are rotated they seem to match perfectly.

See attached screenshots & link below.

Ps, please advice if you want me to stop reporting duplicates and or want me to report them in some other way than "spamming" the #suggestions when I find them. <3

Duplicate parts in the builder.

There are now duplicate parts either imported or manually added, example:

SpeedyBee F405 is listed as having 3 versions.

Problem:

Only 2 exist.

(The F405 Wing APP & F405 Wing MINI (The name of the imported parts suggests 3 exist but that's probably due to naming issues from rotor riot or the source of the imported parts))

Consequence:

We now have multiple ppl working on a part that doesn't even really exist.

Verifiable via SpeedyBees own website, see screenshots and links below.

Well done on the soldier joint then :)
Hope you get back in the air immediately!

General advice here: do NOT try to just remove a chip off of any pcb without knowing way more than we will probably ever know about the board.
Desoldering chips without even damaging just that chip requires knowledge and fairly specific tools, and that's not even talking about successfully doing it without damaging anything else. Much less leave everything else on the pcb working plus the whole system every component on that board makes up, fully functional.

You've swapped receivers you've swapped transmitter, all else you've changed is the gps - all logic says: remove the gps and see what happens. Happy flying! =)

Looks good, only thing to might check is the yellow and white wire where they connect to the main board - I'm guessing it's just camera angle but looks like they just might be touching/very close to.

Stepping in to say the same for my betafpv air 65 ii, had it for a month now, probably at least 100+ crashes, the thing is practically unkillable, all I've had to do is re-solder one of the camera connector wires after a violent crash and swap out the canopy. - I consider those consumables lol =)

Suggestion for Builder:

Add a function to mark a part as problematic/incorrect/legacy/etc and be able to add comments to it so future creators of parts don't spend time on something that is either incorrectly named or imported.

Reasoning: there are now parts in the builder imported - I assume, from rotor riot.

Example:

This part "Holybro Tekko32 F4 Metal 32Bit 65A 30x30 4in1 ESC" that has been updated and the imported version is as far as I can find, no longer sold with the imported design and specs - like the firmware etc.

Suggestion for Builder

Components that have a wire and not just pads: when the feature opens up to allow us to submit own pictures, could this be a possible workaround? See my attached photos, basically: Clear picture of the component with the end of the wire on top of the part on one side?

(Obviously with better placement of the connector etc to not block as much - these are just example photos.)

seconding this. we need more graphical features at least simple ones like lines, boxes and circles

I also do not always have the option to add my own pictures, I only had that for one of my maybe 5-7 submitted/parts in work, and that was after a mod had started a conversation with me and uploaded new photos of the product themselves.
But starting a new part from scratch I do not have the option to add my own photos.

Let's take flight together and elevate the world of FPV drones to new heights.
