Hey, thanks for your words. Really appreciate it. Maybe now is not the right time for me. Financially is tough for me. Been a struggle for awhile with mum's medicals and such. Sims flying is all fun and all but the hoping of wanting to try a real one and knowing you just might not be able to is adding up to feeling more depress. Maybe one day when things get better in the future, who knows. But nonetheless, really appreciate your encouragement. 🙏

Already a year in with the sims, still couldn't get my hands on an actual set of quads. Too many setbacks and responsibilities. it is rather sad to be honest to think that maybe fpv is not for me. But it was enjoyable to watch the youtube vids of other enjoying it and somewhat get to feel how its like to fly an fpv quad in the sims. Maybe in the future, who knows but right now, the feeling of wanting to enjoy flying an fpv quad is diminishing slowly. I might want to lay-off fpv thoughts for now.

But nonetheless, i just wanna say i wish everyone in here will have a great 2026 and i hope everyone do enjoy every moment you have doing the things you love. Peace out, guys ! 😄

Had the pocket for 2 months just flying on sims (don't own a quad yet). Borrowed a friend's helloradio and the gimbal throw difference is big. Getting used to Pocket and using a full size gimbal kind of makes me have more control of the quad. My friend got used to the full size gimbal and he tried my pocket and he said it makes his flying twitchy. I have since then extended the gimbal stick a whole lot to make it as close as possible to a full size, not exact but it gave me much more control.

I agree. The problem with Walksnail is that, whenever they come out with an idea, they immediately make it into a product to sell without second thoughts. The goggles v1/dominator HD and the goggles X is 1 year apart. Other than the vrx/tx module, the only difference was the hdmi input and the different design which they "claimed" to allow easy swap to future module. Even the first goggles x doesn't have inbuilt headtracking and they came out with the 2nd iteration with it built-in.

They don't seem to care about the final thoughts but just 'how quickly can we introduce and sell the product. That is their mistakes. And even if you speak out and give them your opinion or advice, you get blocked in their fb page.

Best first transmitter that don't break your bank

I would say the best because it has all you need for you to start your fpv training in the simulator and also to have your first quad. Literally almost everyone will start with a tinywhoop and this right here fits everything you need. Its small and compact, have upgradable gimbal and even module bay. I don't think any budget TX with the same price out there have the same specs as this one. I'm happy with mine and when i am financially ready to own a quad myself, this will still be one of my TX for easy transport and for my tinywhoops.

Few days ago, Caddx teases the Ascent VRX and Ascent VRX Pro to everyone. Then in some post in facebook someone got a hold of the Ascent VRX Pro VRX and Ascent GT Pro VTX. One of the member ( who seems to be know a lot about caddx products) commented and mentioned that it is only for industry uses and not for consumers.

So i am actually confused. Caddx posted and teased both the VRX to everyone and if it is only for Industrial use because of the 4W power, then why post it to everyone? to us general consumers ? It just doesn't make sense.

I will just comment on the radio as the rest of it is good. My suggestion is if you like gamestyle radio, go for either Jumper bumblebee, radiomaster zorro, Flysky art01 or tbs tango 2. Although you would need elrs rx on your quad, it won't tie you down to one system in the future. People don't usually buy dji controller unless they are flying their neo. Plus, these radios will have better gimbals than the dji controller for the price they are selling (these are the according to the people i know saying dji controller's gimbal kinda suck and its expensive as hell for what you get).

As long as it doesn't come lose during flight, it will be fine. Check every nuts before flight so that you won't crash your expensive quad mid flight.

@BagelFPV Well i think that is the cause. Soldering on a small board needs more meticulous work. Any stray wires or solders can cause a short, even a small one.

What happened ? Did you made any mods like soldering the motor to the esc ? Usually esc blew up due to over current draw from the motors or there is a short somewhere.
