@GideonFPV Yes those PP like plastic or TPU will peel off, I have experiment with permanent maker pen with spray gun(made for pen) and seems to work but not really well, it will not peel off but still not scratch resist enough. Awesome work man!

Awesome man! How durable is the paint? Will it peel off from light crashing? I also want to paint my quads

Nice! Another draknight quad on this site! What aio will you use on this quad?

Awesome upgrade! The mount seems to have no issue with O4 vibrating?  I have seen another draknight with O4 but it barely flyable as the vibration gone insane in the goggle. I just crashed mine draknight yesterday haha ELRS does work anymore, hopefully an external ELRS will fix it! Happy flying man!

Dude this type of toothpick quad are awesome! I own a draknight from Hglrc which is really similar to this quad. Just upgraded to walksnail 1s and somehow it fly better(no idea why). The upgrade was a nightmare as the space are tight. Agree what Stewart said camera mounting is problematic. Also designed a prop guard for neighborhoods friendly hahaha. Awesome man!

Abit on the heavy side, it weight 40.6 grams for now, might try to reduce some weight in the future. And haven't learn how to PID tune yet, it has some vibration, still kinda fun to fly!

Holy crap that is exactly what I needed, thanks a lot man! You gave me a big help. I haven't set the motor idle setting, raising it seems to fix the issue. By the way my build is a ACK 75 kit which has a 1.5mm carbon plate screw directly on top of the PC prop guard, and I printed my own TPU canopy, awesome!

Question for a new build:

Just finished building a brand new 75mm tinywhoop,

Betafpv aio with walksnail 1s system.

When I arm the motor will spin and stop and repeat, cannot spin at a static rpm. Is this issue related to PID tune which I haven't learn to do or I missed some sort of setting. The whoop can fly though, it just weird when arming the motor.

Spec : betafpv F4 1s 12a aio V3 (stm32f405)

Rcinpower GTS 1002 v3 19000kv

Walksnail 1s vtx

1.6g shouldn't be a problem for 2S, as long as yours have an extra Rx Tx for the GPS. I also wanted to add GPS on my 2s toothpick but the aio does not have extra uart for GPS. Are yours analog or HD?

@Quad_Jake Yeah easiest way it seems. I already extended mine with heat shrink, seems work at the monent. One wire came off completely when striping, found out wires are solder unerneath the pcb not on top, so if the extention breaks when crashing, I can replace the whole wire without taking the motor apart. Good news. Great demo photo anyway thank you!

@EpicPieFlavour probably walksnail 1s. Was thinking HD nano V3 but the heatsink is too tall. Thanks for asking.

@LouisXVIII Thanks for you suggestion, I think i might go your route, seems easiest. Reasons for removing the plug, I wanted to make the aio lower for room to install ws 1s, I could put spacer (for the aluminum frame) to make more room, I have seen lots of ws 1s built thay way, I prefer a lower profile though. Another reason for that is motor plug is rather loose, everytime i crash it unplug it self. I did put t7000 glue on the plug, which kinda work but it doesn't look nice.

Hi all

Upgrading my draknight rtf from Hglrc to walksnail system, removed the motor plug for more space. Now the problem is the motor cable is too short, it can be solder but it seems risky as it will lift up. Any suggestion for dealing such a pain?

Should I replace the cable, or extend it by soldering other cable on it?
