@BlaqkstarFPV Yeah, especially when it comes to their internal resistance. It's a hard metric to track on the smaller packs. I usually go by their voltage sag when in flight. If I see it doesn't perform like it used to, they go straight to the barbecue.

Thank you for sharing this. It's really important to keep an eye on these little energetic packs! I follow the methodology that no matter what I do, no storage system is fully fireproof. I keep a fire extinguisher near by and know all of my ammo can storage boxes lined with welders blankets, and lipo bags and other mitigation practices are only there to keep an incident contained, not stopped. It is important to have a safety plan in place. I'm glad Kraken is safe. You can replace things, you can't replace a life.

Yep, it's a little intimidating at first, but I managed to get my pa01 reset and the instructions are pretty good.

Do it! But you need to consider the motor KV when it comes to 6s and the propeller size. I'm not mechanical/electrical engineer, but I think 2306 are more efficient. This also depends on the prop size and kv. For a 5 inch, 2306 is a big motor and one at a low enough kv would give you a more cruise type craft with lots of torque. Higher would give you more thrust. I like running 2306 1700kv on my 5 inch drones, and 2306 1500kv on my 6 inch ones.

Here's a video of him taking my Volador VX3.5 out. We had trouble binding his transmitter to it so he had to use mine. I'd say for not being comfortable with someone else's set up, he was pretty comfortable lol

Just had a fun flying session with another pilot in my area today lots of fun talking shop and sharing tips and exploring. This post is a shout out to Stu and the devs for creating such an awesome platform for us to connect. I hope I spelled his name correctly haha. Here's what I took out today, (photos are not from today).

Cheers and happy flying y'all!

PSA: you all probably know, but if you're in the US, pyrodrone.com has o4 pros in stock!

Edit: hope this doesn't go against forum rules. Just wanting to share some good news for us pilots in the US

It's probably the flyfish atlas 4. I've swapped out the props for tri-blades and the rear tpu for the stock one.

Ignore the mess, and don't look to hard at the positive connection lol. I'm proud of being able to knock so much of my replacement volador so quickly today. Hopefully it will have a better life than it's older sibling. Only thing left to do is salvage a o4 pro from another frame and set up

Update: she flies!

Wow! Yeah, I know if you can get it quick enough, relatively, you can save it. But I was visiting family in a different state, 5 hours away from home, so it's lost. I told my cousins husband what to do and how to get it cleaned if he gets it though lol. Good news is that I have enough spare parts to build another vd6. I'm just annoyed because the motors were rated for 8s if I ever wanted to dabble in that even deeper money pit

Lol, there goes my favorite 6 inch. My flysky pa01 wasn't calibrated and the airelon's expo was insanely high. Instant cooked stack and into the drink. The transmitter is new, but I have found the it more finicky than anything else. I still like it though, so I'll have to figure it's quirks our. Right now, I can't figure out the charging... I guess it's not power delivery compatible.

Awesome work man! People like to say that the hobby is stagnant, but people who look at the cracks for improvements are the ones who will push it forward!

Good day, y'all! I have been flying with the o4 lite on some of my quads. Still, for obvious reasons (or lack of viewing angles), I want to try wide angle options for the camera. I know about the flywoo options, and have one waiting to be installed in a new build. What I want to know is if anyone has had experience with the DolphinRC wide angle attachment? I tried doing some research on them, but couldn't find any details on personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

Like I said, egg on my face. Trust me, I get it I missed the obvious... I already feel like crap for believing in people. I can sometimes be literal and check and double check without jumping to conclusions because I have been bit in the rear by making bad calls, problems with my asd. gif

I'm sorry, I don't know about the rules there. However, I do follow a pilot from Malaysia. He may have a video about the rules there https://youtube.com/@curlyfpv?si=EdA6xFpW4qkB00sG

Hey! Welcome to the skies! In the US, you do need registration and pass the TRUST certification. You'll also need to join and follow the rules laid out by a community based organization. Make sure you understand the airspace and rules when it comes to flying your drone safely and responsibly. Safe ripping!
