Built this 3in quad from a cheap Amazon frame. Came out really well. The RCinpower Smoox 1507 motors are very smooth with lots of power.

Got it tuned really well and its one of my best flyers now.

-Frame: Usmile Fi-135-O4

-AIO: HAKRC F7220 2-6S AIO 20x20 Flight Controller w/ 32Bit 40A 4in1 ESC

-Capacitor: 35v 1000uf (The motors would create huge voltage spikes and restart the FC and VTX when reacting any little bump) This fixed it.

-Motors: RCinpower Smoox 1507 3800kv

-Props: HQ 3x3x3

-VTX: DJI O4 lite with Flywoo wide angle lens mod w\RushFPV Cherry II RHCP Antenna

-Battery: GNB 660mah 4s

-AUW:228

Camera mounting is made for the standard DJI O4 Had to shave the sides of the Flywoo O4 lens mod to get it to fit.

Ignore the mess, and don't look to hard at the positive connection lol. I'm proud of being able to knock so much of my replacement volador so quickly today. Hopefully it will have a better life than it's older sibling. Only thing left to do is salvage a o4 pro from another frame and set up

I’m building an fpv drone and I’m checking to see if the parts fit,where should I mount my radiomaster xr3 receiver since I have no idea where to mount it. Also need to know antenna position as well for this y4 frame

Has anyone added an 04 lite to an analog ymzfpv lightning 2? Really wanna try it on mine but I'm sure you need a mount for the cam etc? Thanks!

I haven't flown since this thing was new on store shelves!! I never did get too interested in it back in the day. Airplanes and helicopters took up my time. I just plugged everything in and I couldn’t believe it still works! Everything turned on… forgot how to arm the thing for a second then promptly tossed it into a wall when it accidentally armed! I figured it out again… hopefully all the batteries are still good! I’m flying it this weekend!!

Latest iteration of the Raptor404 frame. Can't wait to make a proper test flight.

Its pretty much a new design compared to the former version. The base/clamp plate got an extension to the front. I included a mid plate. The arm locking mechanism got an upgrade. Arms are now a squashed x instead of a true x design. Standoffs are now 25mm instead of 28mm. The faceplates are are now clamped inbetween base and top plate instead of clamping them from the side with standoffs. It can house every analog or digital system. The fuselage got shorter and smaller in the rear.

So pretty much a new design as it doesn't look anywhere close to the original design 😂

PROJECT WALKSNAIL COBRA X V4.

Here are some mods/3d prints I've been working on to make the Skyzone Cobra X V4 more comfortable when I have the Ascent VRX connected to them.

I have printed a rear head strap from the Oculus vr headset, mounted a 2x 18650 battery holder with power switch and run a retractable power cable to suit.

I was using a barrel splitter to power the VRX and goggles but was getting a low battery warning from the VRX. So I went back to the goggles being powered by its 18650 and the VRX powered by the 2 18650s.

Face foam and nose guard have been changed to DJI V1/V2 goggles. This has reduced the light leak down to nothing and a lot more comfortable.

The Ascent VRX is connected to the goggles with 2 velco pads attached to the back of the VRX and front of the goggles.

Hi everyone! Decided to get back into the hobby since 2017. I have my taranis q x7 (the dinosaur haha) and going to get a radiomaster pocket soon (i heard its small but i wont fly for more than 10-15min, even at that i wouldn't mind spending more for the boxer). The question is, what stacks are modern? i fly analog only, no HD or anything like that (still rocking the fatshark v2 dominators!). i have a foxeer cam and a nice 5' skitzo frame from back in the day. if anyone has any stack recommendations please send me the info so i can start building a new 5' :)

Just finished my first build. 5" RVS MOPAX Custom. Lots of research, learning.....and not without some mistakes too! Definitely a new experience for me and can't wait to get one in the air!

I need help with my fpv drone it has the dji 03 air unit and elrs sometimes my controller disconnects from the drone and the drone spins upside down in acro mode the drone also doesn’t show ods any tips

Rebuilding my drone after finally receiving a replacement ELRS antenna, stripped it down and rebuilt it.

and settled on  RCInpower GTS V3 2105 Plus 2950KV M5-Mount Motor since it was in stock. Being Teal/Pink will be flashy with the pink frame.

I am going to try 2 different propellers. 4” or 4.5”? The prop and the motor combo will be interesting to test. I am by no means an expert, so I may not notice or may be totally overwhelmed.

Last summer I designed and built a 3s 2" Walksnail whoop, printed in PP filament (pic attached).

It flies, and it's super powerful, but really needs tuning.

I have no experience with filters and PID tuning, and when I tried to follow guides online, it just made it fly a whole lot worse!

If you're in the UK (preferably in or around Yorkshire), and you're confident you can tame this beast of a whoop, please give me a shout!

Hey guys I just want some thoughts. I want to get into some fpv flying after im done with my simulator. But I want a drone my budget is around 2k, and i want to use the archetype frame. I dont know what camera i should use and parts, but i know that i want to use a high end goggle like dji 3 pros. If anyone can help me out id much appreciate it.
